Shoe Stuff Plus - Shoe Boxes

Every true Shoe Lover has a collection of shoes in every color, style and heel height to suit the occasion, the season and of course her mood, so an investment in some really good shoe box organizers is critical to keep those beauties organized and scuff free. But what are the best shoe boxes to invest in?

We conducted a number of polls and did alot of research into this extiting field and are excited to share our findings with you!! Most Shoe Fashionistas have a combination of both clear plastic shoe boxes and cardboard shoe boxes, and we have compiled a list of the pros and cons of both.

Clear Plastic Shoe Boxes:

Pros - Great for in-season storage - at a glance you can see those strappy red high heels without having to rumage through box upon box. Plus the shoe boxes neatly stack on top of each other taking up less space. Finally, both ends of these boxes open so you don't need to unstack them in order to access your favorite shoes.

Cons - The plastic tends not to be as strong as cardboard.

Cardboard Shoe Boxes:

Pros - Great for out-of-season storage. Cardboard shoe boxes are sturdy and can be stacked and neatly stored away for the next season.
Cons - Unlike clear plastic shoe boxes, you cannot see which shoes are in which boxes. The fix is to attach a label to each shoe box identifying which pair is inside.

Now that you know the secret to the Shoe Lover's organized closet, we have one final tip - you don't need to spend alot to get alot - you can buy bulk shoe boxes in either clear plastic (check out the link below) or cardboard, or you can reuse the boxes that are given to you when you make your purchase, just decorate them up for more attractive and uniform storage.
